Admissions Requirements

Prospective students may apply at any time during the year and, if accepted, may begin in any term during the year of acceptance or the following year.

Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Applicants must provide a copy of High School Diploma or GED
Applicants must review and sign the Enrollment Agreement & application

Course Curriculum

The program mainly focuses on crown dental preparations such as cast gold, PFM, and ceramics. It can be customized to meet specific program requirements.

We offer two types of the Bench Test Prep Course, online and in-person.

1. Online Theoretical Orientation (Both Online and In-Person Modalities):
- Introduction to Bench Test Exams
- Essential Dental Anatomy for Crown Preparations
- Material Science for Crowns (Cast Gold, PFM, Ceramics)
- Instrumentation and Equipment Overview for Crown Preparations
- Dental Photography Techniques for Bench Test Documentation
2. Practical Training (Structure Varies by Modality):
In-Person Modality (6 hours):
- Hands-on practice with crown preparations on typodont models (6 teeth provided)
- Utilizing a variety of burs and instruments for different crown materials
- Demonstration and guidance by experienced instructors
- Individualized feedback on carving techniques and preparation accuracy
- Participants must bring their own materials, instruments, and equipment for practice.
3. Online Modality (2 Virtual Meetings):
- Virtual demonstrations of crown preparation techniques by instructors
- Participants submit video recordings of their own crown preparations
- Online discussion and feedback sessions with instructors on carving accuracy and efficiency
- Opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized guidance
